Manolo Campion
Manolo creates an aesthetic which is graphic, playful and beautifully simple. Informed by a love of detail, surface and texture, his vision responds to both natural and constructed landscapes with an emphasis on form, composition and structure. Manolo applies an experimental eye across his fashion, beauty and still life work. Maintaining a “beginners-mind” continues to be a goal for Manolo on each of his projects.
Growing up, Manolo split his time between Latin America and the U.S. After graduating from The Pasadena Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, he moved to London establishing himself in the editorial and advertising world before ultimately settling down in New York. Now a revered and in-demand talent, Manolo splits his time between Sydney and New York. “Collaborating with others is my favourite part of being a photographer… I love when our different points of view combine to reveal something unexpected, it makes all the work worth it!”
