Based in Sydney Australia, celebrated fashion and portrait photographer Nick Leary spends much of his time travelling the globe shooting stories for titles such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, GQ and Conde Nast Traveler.
Be it Hugh Jackman in the outback, or Giorgio Armani at the illustrious Teatro Armani, Leary is a standout favourite for his emotive and classic style. Inspired by creative people who take the best from life, Leary loves the opportunity to travel and work with teams that share his passion to create the perfect picture.
His ability to make a backdrop look as though it has been plucked from cinematic masterpiece has seen Nick shoot some of Australia’s most iconic brands such as RM Williams, Sussan, Berlei and Sportscraft.
Leary’s taste for epic scenery and big budget action photography has since seen him turn his hand to moving imagery and with that, the new role of director. With behind the scenes pieces being shot on Safari in South Africa for GQ, and short art projects out at the world famous Joshua Tree in the Muave desert, Nick’s ease and precision with the camera is what makes him one of the most sought after photographers in the industry.
